  • 280 West Millbrook Road is located in Central Raleigh, close to the North Hills area.

  • Online therapy, also known as teletherapy, is a form of mental health treatment where clients receive therapy through secure digital platforms rather than in-person. It offers flexibility and convenience, enabling people to access therapy from home or anywhere with a secure internet connection.

  • Yes! I prefer to meet in-person if you are able. I offer daytime and evening appointments.

  • I am currently in-network with Aetna. I am also a Clear Pricing Provider (CPP) with the State Health Plan, which means those who have a State Health Plan will have a $0 co-pay and insurance should cover the entire cost of sessions.

If using any insurance, your insurance provider has a fee schedule and sets a rate for services that are predetermined by your unique insurance plan. Additionally, you may be eligible to use your out-of-network benefits and receive partial coverage for the fee. Feel free to contact me to learn more about our fee schedule.

  • Yes, I do accept private pay. All major credit cards are accepted, in addition to HSA and FSA cards.

  • The first session is opportunity for us to get to know one another better. Feeling a connection with your therapist is essential! We can chat about what brings you to therapy and feel free to ask any questions you may have. While we will need to discuss the more mundane things like paperwork, policies and procedures, my main priority is creating an environment that can become a “haven” for you. My hope is that you will leave with a better sense of how therapy can support you and what to expect in future sessions.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask that you provide 24 hours notice. If you miss a session without canceling, or cancel with less than 24 hour notice, the policy is to collect a no-show/late cancellation fee. It is important to note that insurance companies do not provide reimbursement for canceled sessions; thus, you will be responsible for the late cancellation fee. All no show and late cancellation fees will be automatically charged to the card on file.

  • A Good Faith Estimate for mental health services is a written estimate provided by a therapist or mental health provider detailing the expected cost of services before treatment begins. This estimate is part of the No Surprises Act, a law designed to protect patients from unexpected medical bills.
